5 Tips for Success


To me, success is a combination of an empowered mind-set and consistent positive action. You’ve heard the saying that goes something like “inch by inch, success is a cinch.” Okay, I know I really paraphrased that but you get what I mean.

I’ve been thinking about success and I’ve come up with five tips I believe are vital for achieving goals. Please, let me know what you think.

1. Know what you want and why you want it. Keep your eye on achieving your goals. Obstacles will crop up but if your “why” is big enough the challenges won’t have the power to stop you.

2. Vow to take positive action everyday. Just do it! Don’t over plan, over prepare or over think it – make consistent positive effort and you’ll begin to see positive results.

3. Positive action can create unstoppable momentum. Create your momentum one consistent and positive bite-sized piece at a time. “Inch by inch, success is a cinch.”

4. Associate with positive and empowered people. Look at your friends and associates – are they success-oriented and ready to make their own goals reality? Positive energy attracts positive opportunities – what’s your energy been like lately?

5. Live your life with an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful for the ups and downs, the challenges and all the speed bumps along the way. Each challenge, believe it or not, is a valuable learning and growing opportunity.
