Self-sabotage can be subtle. It can be those little self-limiting behaviors, thoughts and habits that keep you from going forward the way you want to and know you can. 

Here are 10 signs you may be self-sabotaging the good things in your life: 

1. Do you set your expectations or standards too low so you won’t be disappointed? 

2. Do you expect things to go wrong even when they are going along smoothly? 

3. Do you see success as a major responsibility and something that may not be pleasant? 

4. Do you find more things wrong with yourself than right? 

5. Are you a perfectionist? 

6. Do you find yourself procrastinating when it comes to completing a task that may involve being judged, rated or graded? 

7. Is your self-talk often negative when it comes to how well you succeed and thrive financially? 

8. Do you have difficulty accepting compliments? 

9. Do you generally feel good things don’t last? 

10. Can you describe yourself positively in one sentence? 

These are general questions to get you thinking about whether or not you’re giving yourself permission to appreciate the good things about your life and talents.
